SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it's alarmed concerning the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area regularly. The assistance issue made for intervention encounters a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to empower the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
